Flavor Profiles

This directory contains individual user stories related to flavor characteristic definition, recipe balance analysis, menu-wide flavor analysis, and balance recommendations.

The flavor profile system enables hosts to understand and analyze the flavor characteristics of ingredients, products, and recipes. This foundation supports menu balancing, recipe development, and personalized drink recommendations.

The foundation for flavor profile analysis has been implemented with ingredient profiles, recipe flavor calculation, and visualizations. Future stories build upon this foundation for:

  • Guest preference matching
  • Recipe comparison and adjustment tools
  • Automatic flavor-based tagging
